Parma, MI: – Onsted is a small town of less than a 1,000 people but their High School competitive cheer team showed up big at the Western Cheer Invitational taking home the first place trophy after 3 rounds of very impressive competition on their part.
For such a small school, they have a very large team of talented girls that performed with great synchronicity and some great acrobatics that impressed the judges earning them a 766.06 score and defeating the 7 other teams. Finishing second place with a score of 696.24 was Jackson Lumen Christi. The Lumen Christi Middle School took the first place trophy for the middle schools with a 442.9 score.
Rounding out the top 5 of the competition was Chelsea with a 568.7 score, Homer with a 599.92 score, and the host school Western with a 627.26 score.
