Bloomington, Indiana: On Thursday Night Taylor Mikesell scored her 2,000th career point to begin the game against Indiana and finished with 15 points.
Mikesell’s 2,000th career point opened the scoring for the contest as the teams traded points. The Senior from Massillon, Ohio was proud of the accomplishment but sad that the Hoosiers defeated her Buckeyes.
Mikesell has played and started in all 21 games this season and leads the Buckeyes averaging 18 points a game while also leading the team playing 34 minutes a game.
