Michigan High School 2025 Division 2 Track And Field State Championship Results

Hamilton, MI. – On the last day of May, the Hawkeyes of Hamilton High School once again hosted the Michigan High School Athletic Association’s Division 2 track and field state championships. It was a windy yet clear day with no storms or inclement weather like last year’s meet. Well over 120 teams came from all over the Lower Peninsula to compete.

The field events started at 9:30, and the semifinals started shortly after. In the afternoon, the finals of all events began. There were 17 events in each of the Boys’ & Girl’s Divisions, and Parma Western of the Boys came away as the overall winner with 44 points, edging out River Rouge by 6 points, and New Boston Huron finished third with 30 points. The Hometeam Hawkeyes finished tied for 29th place with 8 points.

For the Girls, Sturgis dominated the meet and finished victorious with 54.2 points. Second place was Goodrich with 39 points, who edged out third place Saginaw Swan Valley by 1 point.

The stadium was packed on both sides with an abundance of fans and supporters. Everyone who was able to compete gave their all and did a great job.
