Williamston, MI: – In a makeup game The Hornets of Williamston played host to the Cougars of Lansing Catholic Central in a junior varsity match. The Hornets started out slow and the Cougars took advantage and played a fast up-tempo game on it’s way to a 46-28 victory.
The Cougars took advantage of several Hornets turnovers and outplayed them on the boards but the Hornets fought back but just couldn’t close the gap enough. The Hornets were led by Sophie Cook with 8 points, Sophie Casey and Roza Bonner with 5 points each. The Cougars were led by Ava Foster with 9 points, Megan Fischette with 8, and Olivia LaPorte with 7.
